The Colorado Department of Labor and Employment recently reported that Colorado gained 9,100 payroll jobs in May from the previous month, and the state’s unemployment rate fell to 5.8 percent, the lowest rate since November 2008.

Colorado’s jobless rate was 6 percent in April and 6.2 percent in March.
